driftwood-cross

Hi friends, we figured since we have had so much fun with our driftwood this year that it was only appropriate to use it as our Christmas card.  This was another very cool piece we found this year like the “scary face” I sent you for Halloween.  This all natural cross was found in the water at Saint Joris on a very weathered five foot tall board, the cross itself is about 12 inches tall.  The funny thing is on the same board at the other end it also has a dolphin face as well, what are the odds, needless to say we will be keeping these little treasures.  It took me 3 days to figure out how to get the lights behind the cross.  I tried everything!  We ended up decorating a 10 foot wooden pole with solid lights.  We then strapped our driftwood cross to a big brick, turned out all the lights at night and prayed for the best, one would think this would be easy but shooting Christmas lights is a real challenge.  Anyways, something different is always good right!!

I want to just say Thanks again to everyone who helped us again this year, you know who you are!!  I am shocked at how fast this year went and really can’t believe it’s almost over??  I am in high hopes of getting to meet some of the great people on my daily e-mail list some day, I know so many of you only through cyber-space!  We hope you all have a great holiday season and a safe new year, lets make 2009 our best year yet!!

Merry Christmas early, we love you all, Barry, Aimee, Inca, Indi and of course “the Cat”!!
