![]() Lunch Time Hi again, I never want it to be said that I always sent the o’l stuff, so here’s my lunch today. I went to a 100% Dutch grocery store today called Albert Heijn and while passing by the freshly sliced meat counter I saw this smiling bologna begging me to take it home, so I did! I just stared at it wondering how in the heck do they make this stuff, or did I even want to know? I have never seen this before in the States have any of you?? As I was checking out I ran into our dolphin trainer Zenzi and she said yes it’s a Dutch thing and it’s mainly for the kids. I told her I was going to go straight home and take a picture of it, it’s just too cool. So the last thing Zenzi said to me as I was leaving was, “you only bought the meat to photograph it”?? I said yep, I did try it but ended up giving it to my two four legged un-picky food eaters and put ham on instead, it just wasn’t for me.
About the only thing I did today was to take the dogs on a two hour hike along the coast. You can come here and walk along our North coast all day and never see a single person, it’s a big area. I checked out some little remote beaches that I had not been to in a long time and they were just filled with great wood. I spent and hour moving wood from one place to another where others won’t find it, I can now go back anytime and pick it all up. The dogs had a wonderful time running and swimming and are currently passed out in bed. I was planning on going for a short bike ride later after it cools down but am still undecided.
Hope your all having a wonderful Sunday, talk to you tomorrow, Barry
